The Helmholtz Association is offering 40 postdoc positions in the fields of Energy, Earth and Environment, Health, Key Technologies, Structure of Matter, and Aeronautics, Space and Transport:
20 Helmholtz Young Investigators Groups Leaders (2-6 years after PhD)
Funding will be granted to up to 20 independent Young Investigators Groups working in the above fields. The funding of a Young Investigators Group amounts to a minimum of 250,000 euros a year for a period of 5-6 years. In case of a positive evaluation, the candidate will then be given a permanent employment contract by a Helmholtz Centre (Tenure Track).
Deadline: 30 March 2012 (Pre-Proposal)
20 Helmholtz-Postdocs (Up to 1 year after PhD)
Funding will be granted to up to 20 postdoctoral researchers working in the above fields. The funding of a researcher amounts to a maximum of 100,000 euros a year for a period of 2-3 years. German applicants are required to gain research experience abroad during the funding period.
